Another quick visit today  so not much seen , so here goes
The resident Moorhen family are doing well with the parents and previous brood all feeding the chicks.
The pair of Mute Swan still on the wetland whilst plenty of Swallows and a few House Martins were off South. A Kestrel put in a 20min appearance  it just sat preening but was enjoyable to watch.

Some Sandwich Terns still lingering offshore and last week I had a single Roseate Tern here. In previous years these birds used to be here in numbers but have dropped off quite a bit lately.

And and a few days ago I had the pleasure of a Common Darter landing on my hand + arm. It was fantastic seeing it so close and a fox ran past at the same time, what more can you ask for..
